Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the cumulative beauty and incredible views of the Ngorongoro Crater, Oldupai Gorge, and the Crater Highlands. NCA is a unique protected area in the whole of Africa where conservation of natural resources in integrated with human development. The Ngorongoro Crater, a 19km wide crater, is the main attraction, as it is one of the largest unbroken calderas in the world that isn't a lake. The Crater and the Highlands are covered in lions, elephants, buffalo, ostrich, eland, wildebeest and reedbucks. The conservation area also offers views of hippos at Ngoitoktok Springs, and flocks of flamingos at Lake Magadi. This conservation area is certainly worthy of its title as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
